He formed Griffiths and Rees in 1992 to target hi tech start-up companies that do not possess a dedicated HR capability and his company owes its success in a pragmatic toolkit approach in dealing with HR issues especially the ability to find, attract, and retain talented people. His expertise is better suited with hi-tech, start-up companies.
He's retired now because he had a stroke nine years ago.
After his stroke he felt frustated because he had not been able to get the message across. His frustation equalled motivation to talk. Today its much better now. Its improving year by year. He can speak but its slow and his reading and writing are back.He was always as the difficult things as a challenge, rather than an obstacle.
